What is the Hundred-Day challenge?
The Heart of Humble Heroes Hundred-Day Challenge is an annual program inspiring middle school students to volunteer in their communities over a span of 100 days. At the end, each student submits an essay reflecting on the difference they made for others and the personal growth they experienced. Students whose efforts create the most significant impact are awarded a scholarship from The Humble Heroes of FDNY. Our mission is to promote volunteerism, foster a sense of responsibility, and help inspire the next generation of compassionate, engaged leaders
"We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future."
